Downshift Safety Training & Consulting, LLC is a company designed to bring a safety culture to construction companies, who may think that they can not afford it or think that they don’t have a need for it.

Downshift Safety Training & Consulting LLC was established in Corpus Christi, Texas in May of 2016 by myself, Steve Lewis.  I made this decision after ending a 32 year career as an industrial Paramedic. My desire was to create a company that could reach out to smaller construction companies in the area with affordable safety training and consulting.

It is truly my desire to help people go home safe at the end of the day, so they can come back to work and continue to make a living in todays workforce.

The safety industry is always forever changing, and requiring different things from companies, and the OSHA fines have just gone up in August of 2016.

I would like to help companies avoid these fines before they have to face closing their business down due not being able to pay them. We do this by training their employees to work safe and develop a never ending safety culture.
